I’m looking forward to Anthem’s new content a lot however, especially due to the ending and other Lore elements (a Sci-fi Monarchy, sort of like if “medieval” fantasy existed in a technological age instead of historical).
Divisions story was interesting too but not the best told as well.

Anthem’s story isn’t quite on par with a regular BioWare game (I liked it though, and the city/characters of Fort Tarsis), but I think it trumped og destiny’s for sure (I love the Lore of destiny, but it took them a full year and TK to get Story telling down imo). That said, story wise at least, I think it has the most potential out of the gaas titles so far. I can understand 7-7.5 from true fans, myself for example, but technical flaws alone keep it from an 8 currently. So do you then label that teacher a bigot because their opinion of a students behavior doesn't fall in line with the other teachers? That is what you are doing in this case. You can disagree and that's fine, this person also gave a critique of the game and obviously felt there was room for improvement as they didn't give the game a perfect score. The only people that are taking an odd stance are those attacking someone for their opinion. Doesn't change the fact that the numbers, unless being applied in an agreed upon standard, are meaningless. The issue I have with the rating scale is when someone gives a 1/10 and just say "_ developer is (some nasty word) and this game (expletive)" that does not help or when we get the sense that a site is paid to buddy up with a game developer/producer - this is when we lack fidelity. Much like how we use a rating scale when writing an IEP, if I go off of one teachers opinion of a students behavior it is rather arbitrary, when I ask each of the students academic teachers questions on behavior, the rating scale has fidelity.

Spider-Man PS4 is excellent, and I thought that aspects of the DLC were a little boring, and I wish the boss fights would have been more complex.AND this summer I am going to play it again, because it is awesome and central story is interesting and very human to me.Ĭritiquing is an important process for everyone involved: purchaser, creator, support staff, etc.

For you, it seems like you would like to go deeper, so read the article or several articles.įor me, I rated the game a 7/10 because it is entertaining, the NPCs are interesting to listen to, and the story is not as gripping/intense (so far) when compared to other bioware games. Some people look at the number and have an understanding of what it means in comparison to other similar games. So, the "arbitrary number" is a rating scale, we use rating scales in several aspects of life.
